Image Quality and Recording Setup

SHR-4081/4160 allows video quality, image size and recording

speed to be set independently for each channel, and can record

240/360 (SHR-4081/4160) images per second.

This product supports scheduled recording, event recording by alarm

and motion detection, and general recording by user selection.

Motion Detection

SHR-4081/4160 can detect motion in each channel, and can be

triggered to record when motion is detected. Motion-sensitivity can be

set from low to high, having greater sensitivity when it is set higher.

Images prior and after the detected motion can also be recorded,

through the Pre-Alarm/Post-Alarm.

Remote Monitoring and Backup

Video from a camera connected to the SHR-4081/4160 can be

seen through the Smart Viewer, and the video saved to the set can be

searched and played. The user can save (backup) a desired video to

a PC.

Various Search Types

SHR-4081/4160 supports a range of search functions such as cal-

endar search, event search, date/time search, go-to-beginning/end

and backup search. By using the backup menu, a certain section of

data can be saved (backed up) to a USB storage device. The product

supports a range of storage devices, including USB memory, CD-RW

drives (USB interface), HDD using IEEE1394, and others.

Remote Camera Control

(PTZ camera control)

PTZ can be executed within the set without a separate manipulation

device after connecting to the PTZ camera; also, the PTX functions of

the camera can be controlled remotely through the Smart Viewer.

Setup and Upgrade

SHR-4081/4160 not only allows the setting of various functions

through menus, but also allows remote function setting through the

Smart Viewer.

When it is necessary to upgrade the software of the SHR-

4081/4160 set, upgrading can be done directly from the set using

USB memory, or remotely through the Smart Viewer.
