SAMSUNG VIDEO SECURITY SYSTEM I CAMERAS

Day & Night
The Day & Night automatically switches to color mode during the day and to B/W mode during the night depending on the level of illumination
which makes it ideally suitable for 24 hours-a-day surveillance. When in B/W mode the light sensitivity is enhanced.

DNR (Digital Noise Reduction)
By controlling the speed of exposure entering into each picture area, an object can be detected in even low illumination. Samsung Camera utilize
highly light sensitive CCDs and maximize performance through the use of Digital Signal Processing.

Illumination
The digital noise reduction (DNR) removes the video noise that occurs in video signals, particularly when Automatic Gain Control is used in low light
conditions. Since the Digital Noise Reduction is performed by using the cameras memory, when an object moves, the image can be blurred.
However, the Digital Noise Reduction of the camera uses a special Samsung computer code to remove video noise and color noise, regardless of
the motion of an object providing a clear image.

WDR
(
Wide Dynamic Range
)
WDR, much more sophisticatly improved Version of BLC, shows two files in one complex image, by utilizing high shutter speed in bright areas
and low speed shutter in dark areas. When the camera detects an obvious difference in luminance, rather than showing the whole viewing area
at one luminance level, it increases the range of the luminance so that there is no noticeable difference.
• Normal • WDR
After a specific area has been selected for monitoring, if movement is detected in that area, the camera will trigger the alarm. When an exter-
nal alarm device is attached to the camera, user should pay attention to the screen for the alarm triggering. This function is useful if user must
monitor multiple screens at the same time.
