Ultrasound Transmission Gel
Using inappropriate ultrasound gel may damage the probe. For proper transmission of the acoustic
beam, only use ultrasound transmission gels approved by Samsung Medison.
WARNING:
Do not use mineral oil, oil-based solutions, or other non-approved materials as they may cause
damage to the probe.
Do not use gels that contain any of the following agents:

Acetone

Methanol
X
Denatured Ethyl Alcohol
X
Mineral Oil
X
Iodine
X
Lanolin
X
Any lotions or gels containing aroma substances
