2D Mode Soft Menu

Frame Avg

When an image is updated, the current and previous images are averaged. Speckles may appear

when the same diagnosis area is scanned continuously. This function is used to minimize such

speckles. Select a value between 0 and 15 with the dial-button. Frame Avg stands for Frame Average.

L/R Flip

Press the dial-button to ip the left and right sides of an image. The M mark above an image

indicates the current direction of the image.

■

Dynamic Range

Adjust contrast by changing the ratio of minimum/maximum input signal values. Select a value

between 50 and 170 with the dial-button. Increasing the ratio renders softer images.

■

Harmonic

Press the dial-button to turn it on or o. When turned on, the OHI (Optimal Harmonic Imaging)

function is activated to optimize images by using high frequencies. The ‘HRA’ label will be displayed

in the image data.

■

Reject Level

This function is used to eliminate noise or low level echoes for a clearer view of images. Select a

value between 1 and 32 with the dial-button.

■

M Line

Press the dial-button to turn it on or o. When turned on, the M line appears on the image. The M

Line indicates where the target image appears in a 2D image when M Mode or PW Spectral Doppler

Mode is used along with 2D Mode.

■

Edge Enhance

This emphasizes the edges of tissues or organs. Select a value between -3 and 3 with the dial-

button. The greater the value, the more emphasized the edges will be.
