4 Pull the waste toner container out of the machine using its handle.

5 Turn the locking levers outwards to release and open the inner

cover.

Pull the

used paper transfer belt

out of the

machine

using the

handle on its top.

7 Take a new paper transfer belt out of its package.

Caution

• Don't use sharp objects, such as a knife or scissors, to open

the paper transfer belt package. You could damage the

surface of the paper transfer belt.

• Be careful not to scratch the surface of the paper transfer

belt.

8 Holding the handles on the new paper transfer belt, push the paper

transfer belt until it locks in place.

Caution

Be careful not to scratch the surface of the paper transfer belt.

9Turn the locking levers inwards until it locks in place and close

the inner cover.

10 Insert the waste toner container into position and then push it to

make sure that it is firmly seated in place.

11 Close the front cover, then the side cover.

12 Make sure that the cover is securely latched and then turn the

machine on.

Caution

If the cover is not completely closed, the machine will not

operate.
