Basic Operating Instructions
The items that are commonly used in each diagnosis mode are shown below:
Using the Touch Screen Menus
The items that can be used in each diagnosis mode are provided as menu items. You can change
the image format or optimize an image to facilitate your diagnosis. If the touch screen menu is two
pages long, tap the More and Back buttons on the touch screen to change the page.
Gain
Select the mode, and the Gain button, which you can use to adjust image brightness and
sensitivity, will appear in the menu. Pressing this button sequentially increases the Gain to 1, 2,
3, 4, and 5, which increases the image brightness in 2D and M modes and increases the Doppler
sensitivity of image in Spectral Doppler mode.
Focus
Use the ‘ / ’ buttons on the touch screen to adjust the location of the focus.
Depth
Use the ‘ / ’ buttons on the touch screen to adjust the image scanning depth. The acceptable
range of adjustment varies depending on the probe type.
Read Zoom
Zoom in on the study image displayed on the screen by spreading two ngers.
This function is used for zooming in on images that are stored on the hard disk.
1. Place two ngers on the study image on the screen, and spread the ngers apart.
2. Adjust the position of the zoomed-in screen with your nger.
3. Observe the magnied image.
4. You can also double-touch the scan screen to zoom in/out(2X).
