Operation Manual
Color Doppler Mode
This mode displays the colored blood ow pattern of the ROI (Region of Interest) within the 2D image.
It is appropriate for examining the presence of blood ow, its average speed, and its direction. The 2D
Mode image is also shown, allowing the marking and adjustment of the ROI within the entire image.

Entering & Exiting C Mode
Tap the Color/PD button on the touch screen. Tap this button again to exit Color Doppler mode and
enter Power Doppler mode.
C Mode Screen
ROI Box
ROI stands for Region of Interest. The ROI Box outlines the area of the 2D image where color
(blood ow) information is displayed in Color Doppler Mode.
The position and size of the ROI Box can be adjusted by selecting the ROI Box in the study image
with your nger. Select the boundary of the ROI Box to change its size; select the inside of the ROI
Box to change its position.
