5. Allowing Remote Desktop through the DEWE Computer’s Firewall
In certain circumstances you might need to manually create the exception in the rewall to allow Remote
Desktop to be used.
Please be aware that a 3rd party rewall (e.g., Symantec, Kaspersky) might also affect Remote Desktop.
Check those settings to be sure that Remote Desktop is allowed!
Open Control Panel
Click on the Windows start button.
Select “Control Panel”.
Go to System and Security
Click on System and Security.
