Chapter 5 Measurements and Calculations

 Trace

This is a basic measurement that is available in all diagnosis modes. You can measure the

circumference and area of an irregular object in a 2D image.

1. Select Trace from the touch screen’s soft menu.

2. Tap and hold the start point on the contour you want to measure on the touch screen, and drag it.

3. Trace the curved line until the measurement cursor returns to the start point, and release.

NOTE: The trace line must be closed. If you release before tracing is complete, tracing may be done

over a straight line between the current point and the start point, resulting in a significant error.

4. When the measurement is nished, its result is shown on the screen.
