Chapter 7 Diagnosis Modes
Harmonic
Turn this function on or o by tapping Harmonic on the touch screen. The image information
will show the ‘Har’ mark . This product provides the OHI (Optimal Harmonic Imaging) high
frequency function to optimize images.
NOTE: The Harmonic function only works with certain probes.
Frequency
Tap Frequency on the touch screen. This enables you to congure the probe’s frequency.
The selected frequency is displayed in the image area of the monitor, allowing you to easily
determine the state of the current frequency.

Res2 (Resolution): The highest frequency

Res1 (Resolution): High frequency
X
Gen (General): General frequency
X
Pen1 (Penetration): Low frequency
X
Pen2 (Penetration): The lowest frequency
Line Density
Tap Line Density on the touch screen. Set the scan line density. Select Low, Med, or High by
tapping the button.
Selecting High increases the number of scan lines and improves the image resolution. However,
the frame rate is reduced.
L/R Flip (Left/Right Flip)
Tap L/R Flip on the touch screen.
Pressing this button ips the image horizontally (Left/Right Flip). The direction marker on the
top of the image indicates the orientation of the current image.
